119½ Front Street.
Marietta, Ohio 45750. The narrow door between two shop windows, with the number painted on the transom.
Twenty-two steps up, with a rail on the right. There’s no elevator; if stairs are hard for you, call before you book. Park on Front Street, or in the public lot on Second Street, a block over.
(740) 555-0119. He doesn’t pick up during an appointment; calls are returned in the breaks between them.
Asked in the chair.
Or call (740) 555-0119.
Do you take walk-ins?
No. The chair is booked in seventy-five-minute appointments, and the door stays shut while someone is in it. Tuesdays usually have room the same week.
Should I come early?
Come up at your time, not before. There is no waiting room, and the appointment ahead of yours ends at least fifteen minutes before yours starts.
What if I’m late?
Your seventy-five minutes start at your time. Ten minutes late means sixty-five; he shortens the towels, never the passes.
Is a straight razor hard on sensitive skin?
Usually it is the gentlest shave you will get, because no patch of skin sees the blade more than twice. Mention breakouts, rosacea or ingrown hairs when you book; it goes on your card.
Do you cut children’s hair?
From twelve up, with a parent in the room. It’s the Cut: same price, same seventy-five minutes.
How do I cancel?
Call or text a day ahead. Inside twenty-four hours, half the price is added to your next visit.
